TheCorrect -mojodmonky -TheCorrect - Salsa Chicken: Turned out great. When I first taste tested it, I felt that the chicken was a touch dry, but after letting the shredded chicken simmer in the liquid for a bit longer (and also giving it a good mix so that I got some dark meat with the white meat) it was very nice and moist. Chopped up some tomatoes, onions, cilantro, and jalapenos for a fresh pico de gallo on the side, and served it with some black beans, garlic rice, and corn tortillas. I think I will throw this into my regular rotation. Very easy to make and can feed a small army. |

3-5lb pork butt- bone in yellow mustard Emerils essence or Pacific Shake Liquid smoke (2 tablespoons) water (1 cup) Cover butt with yellow mustard and apply shake on all sides. Add 1 cup water on the side (don't pour it over the butt you just covered). Add liquid smoke. Cook for 2 hours on high, 4 hours on low. Flip butt over when turning to low. Using two forks, pull apart butt and remove bone. Add more shake when pulling to taste. Serve with coleslaw, pickles and BBQ sauce on a sesame bun. |

Any clean recipes for Pulled Pork? We are having a New Years Party and bought a huge pork shoulder to separate into two crock pots to have pulled pork sandwiches. Need some ideas! |

These 2 recipes are the easiest to make before work and are perfectly ready for everyone to enjoy when you get home from work. They both take literally less than 5 minutes to make. Hell, it takes more time setting everthing out to eat than it is to prepare them. Recipe #1 Coke Roast 3-5lb Roast 1 Liter Coca Cola 1 Can Campbells Cream of Mushroom Soup 1 Onion Soup Packet Fill the rest of the crock with potatos and carrots lowest setting 8-10 hours The Coke, Soup, and Packet make the easiest and tastiest gravy you can imagine. Recipe #2 Pork & Kraut 3-5lb boneless pork loin 1 bag sauerkraut lowest setting 8-10 hours make with mashed potatos man's perfect meal that will serve left overs for a week |

meow mix - Any clean recipes for Pulled Pork? We are having a New Years Party and bought a huge pork shoulder to separate into two crock pots to have pulled pork sandwiches. Need some ideas! i would only cook a pork shoulder with a smoker, or if you dont have one, a simple charcoal grill with minimal coals. it can be a lot of work but thats the fun of it(drinking helps) depending on how many lbs, cook for roughly 12 hours. the key is to put the rub on the shoulder and wrap it in saran wrap and let it sit on your counter for a day before cooking. it sounds crazy at first but its to let the meat get fully thawed out and absorb the rub. makes for a great bark if done properly. if that isnt an option, i would just cook the shoulder completely bare in the crock for as long as possible, probably 10+ hours on lowest setting. as long as no one opens the lid, there will be plenty of juices to keep the meat moist and it will just fall apart. |
