Any hot coffee? When I played Fallout:NV, I took tremendous adolescent pleasure in banging as many weird chicks as I could. |

wayyyyy better than vanilla Oblivion. i was just in a small area exploring and there was so much variation in the land that it FELT larger than Oblivion even though I hadn't gotten far at all. the combat is a LOT more rewarding and it's a lot more fun to control in third person than the prior games. i'm just running around doing random side quests. |

If you have an old AMD dual core processor like myself(64 x2) you'll probably have to DL the AMD Dual Core Optimizer to get the game to work properly. |

^ ahh... i ended up buying it on 360 because there is no way it'd run decently on my laptop. if and when i get a new pc i'd def. get it for the mods. LUCKILY they fixed a lot of the problems from Oblivion so i don't mind the console version. |

Trust - WHy do all these fantasy, sci-fi games have such drab and depressing color palettes? i think it's their attempt at emphasizing "realism" even though it, many times, doesn't come off at such. I was able to brighten up the color scheme in my tv though. it isn't so bad this time around. it's a lot better than Fallout NV. |

MentaL - pff, got bored of it so i'm playing the new assassins creed instead, much better. if its anything like the older games you have to push through the first few hours. the games may start slow, but are fucking amazingly EPIC once you get going. i have never come remotely close to the amount of hrs i put into oblivion w/any other game...(besides gears 3 multiplayer of course). |

" pff, got bored of it so i'm playing the new assassins creed instead, much better." How is that, then? Isn't AC Revelations not out until next week? |

I can't stop nerdgasming as I play. I loved the Oblivion world but hated the primary/secondary stat levelling system. The levelling in this is so smooth. The perks really add alot more depth than the stats ever did in Oblivion. Crafting is so easy. Perfect game so far. |

So you guys are saying that I should buy this game instead of buying 2 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3's tonight? I buy 2 because my son has his own XBOX360 in his room, and we play together, and with friends... but if Skyrim is THAT awesome, I just may get one Call of Duty, and Skyrim for myself..... |

BillyRayChubbs - So you guys are saying that I should buy this game instead of buying 2 Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3's tonight? Skyrim, easily. Oblivion was literally my favorite game ever made and this should be significantly better. |

athaba - What if you never played the other ones should you still get it? <img src="/images/phone/apple.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/> This is what I want to know as well, I've never played one, though I'm a big fan of the fantasy genre. I get bored pretty easily and these types of games usually aren't the most fast paced, but this looks awesome, I'm really tempted to get it. |

Never played one before, but loving it so far. If I practice something, a particular spell or sneaking, do I get better at it at each level up? Also, is there a way(PC) to assign things to hotkeys, so F1 does a magika potion or something? I bought it off Steam so don't have a manual |
