The baphomet goat head symbol in the upsidedown pentagram in the circle with the sybols around it on the t shirts is pretty much the logo of LaVeyan Satanism. Officially that particular school of Satanism does not actually believe in a supernatural Satan or God, they use it more as a metaphor. It is anti Christain, no one can argue that. A lot of hip hop people rock huge garish crosses in a similar way but they sure as fuck aren't representing Christian values. Was the Baphomet symbol used so widely before the DaVinci Code and Angels and Demons got popular? I noticed it after those books blow up and it seemed like people trying to jump on the band wagon to appear edgy. |

ENZO007 - I'm starting to think that these symbols don't really have a purpose that people are looking for. I think they just show affiliation. You see any celebs using symbols or wearing certain types of jewelry, it's just their way to show who they are affiliated with. The rich get accepted into these occult groups. People like Beyonce, Jay-Z, Lady Gaga, they got accepted into one of these secretive groups so to show their affiliation, they use the symbols... I wouldn't even go that far. I think they are just trying to be edgy, the directors are trying to be cool. they go online and see a lot of peeps are talking about this stuff. eventually it takes off. But aggregately it does represent something and the fact that nobody is willing to comment on this phenomenon is very striking. I mean, ever take a film criticism class? you think we are making tenuous connection, TAKE A FILM CLASS lol.. if you want to see how far visual shit can be stretched. not one comment from the mainstream about this. |
