GIBB0 - The blood thing is the least thought out and most illogical thing in the history of television.

It makes no sense.

My take on the whole blood issue

1) In season one everybody was freaked out about blood being bit and scratched. Nobody knew how or why people were being infected and changed to Zombies. What the DID know was being bit made u catch a fever and die,then change over. So yes they would be super careful not to get bit or scratched by the walkers.

Its like if u were a hunter and u were cleaning a deer and u cut yourself. Your not gonna just say screw it and put your hand back in the dead animal in fear of some sort of infection no?   Remember the deer Daryl shot in S1? They would probably eat it in S3

2) In season 2 AFTER they find out there all infected u see them not care so much about the blood. They hold on to the fear that a scratch and bite will turn u but after they figure it ou t"Shane" they seem to care less about blood splatter and such.

3) In S3 they flat out dont care about blood anymore as there is no need to. They now know there all infected and will change anyway. As far as Tiny goes they "group" didnt kill him that other inmate did out of ignorance. IMO they would have done the same with Tiny as they did with Hershel untill he either changed or didnt.

Hershel is basically proof a scratch wont kill u. It all comes down to the bite. Why does a bite trigger such a fast response?   IMO it triggers a/the dormant infection?

Hershel was bit.

ok, so why would merle kill Neil for wanting to go after michonne and then go after her anyway? And how the fuck did michonne know that they were at the prison?

Something happened to michonne in the comics that they didn't do on the show, I hope it doesn't happen to glens gf instead

He didn't want to go after michonne because he didnt want to risk his life, she was shot, beat and injured headed into "red zone" and he had to kill Neil because he would not lie to the gov, and that wouldn't go over well.

Sure, I can't guarantee ill be right in everything. I can just answer comic related events in relation to the show. Essential Kirkman is rewriting everything so plot lines may change but I can certainly give info fe those who want it

Yeah he's totally deviating from the original story now but keeping some key elements. With that said and them confirming Tyrese for this season gives me reason to believe new black guy or Daryl will be goners by the end if the 3rd season Phone Post
