I dont mind the break in December. Between out of town visits to the family and holiday stuff it is nice not to have to wory about being home to catch a show. I dont think they have done enough to show that the Govenor is crazy. He keeps his kid around, but is that realy crazy? It is his daughter and i bet anyone would have a hard time putting their child down. He has heads in fish tank. Maybe he is saving them for a reason. He killed the soldiers, Rick killed prisoners and the guys in the bar. They didnt make it clear if he raped Maggie. So far it has not shown him doing anything more evil then Rick. I wonder if it is the network holding them back. If they want to make him evil, make him evil. And the writing for Merrel has pissed me off. He finds out his brother is alive and they are going to bring him. So he kidnaped and tortured them? I dont get the motivation in that.

MickColins -Fake Pie - MID-season finale. AMC has apparently decided to just do this all the time with all of their popular shows. Fuckers.AMC does this partly because of the way they fund their shows. They aren't a huge network that can float a shitload of money at any given time. I call BS on this explanation. The enitre season of Breaking Bad is done and "in the can". And while I don't know for a fact, I'm pretty sure the entire season of Walking Dead is also done (or near finished). |

I think they sort of fucked up the story with the "everyone is infected" and you turn when you die. Because then you wouldn't turn into a zombie if you were just bit, and if they are technically all "zombies" because they all carry this "virus" how could any zombie tell a turned zombie from one that isn't? The black chick makes this point in the last episode where the zombies ignored her. She was still a human and she hadn't been injured to the point where she was going to die. They turn quickly after dying as we have seen. So exactly what process takes place from the time they get bit to the time they turn? That would mean the virus itself is "self-aware" and knows when the moment when a person dies. Too many plot holes with the idea "everyone is infected" The only way it could work is if everyone was infected and everyone would eventually turn regardless of death or not. Since that would kill the complete story line by killing off every character I doubt they will go that route. |

David@accu - They identify food via their sense of smell. Michonne didn't smell like food, she smelled like zombie guts, because she was covered in them. Once the blood from her wound started to seep through her pants, the zombies on the fence smelled her and identified her as one of them.
The virus that turns everyone after they die is dormant. People don't turn because they're bitten, they turn because the bacteria in the bite kills them, and then the virus reanimates them. |
