Frank Grimes -  I don't want to see anything banned. I played my first round matchup with my normal class setup and had a good competitive match. When I played my next match with chap we said no lethals or tacticals and it completely changed the way I played. Tacticals and lethals are skill based equipment especially in a 1v1 and takes up a point slot so I think it is balanced.

And as far as I know chap nothing was ever banned in the tournament but the people playing each other had the right to ammend the rules if both players agreed.

It depends, so many tacticals and lethals, some can be used skillfully some cheaply.  flash grenades are designed to let u attack someone that can't fight back.  claymores, bettys, are designed to kill for you.  see a guy 100 ft away disappear around a corner before u can fire? throw a grenade! no longer have to run to him and engage.  i know there are clever ways to use tacticals/lethals, but once u legalize them there's no way to police cheap tactics vs fair ones.  i do kind of like the thought of smoke grenades in 1v1.  i can't picture that used cheaply.  why don't we just save lethals/tacticals for matches beyond 1v1?  2v2, 3v3, etc? (btw i'm really looking fwd to 3v3 SnD)

Yup, u were legal.  We're talking about future tense. And in the same spirit of what parties agree on, we're just discussing it now to get a consensus going so we'll see what everyone's opinions are, if they even are into clan matches at all (doesn't reallyi seem like it)

chaplin, i never mentioned any weapons, equipment and attachments to be banned from the competition.. i did say that each match-ups can make up their own rules as they battle it out... as long as they both agreed... If you'd rather hear the footsteps of your opponents rather than to protect yourself from their equipments... its on you... I did mention no SCORESTREAKS though... I wanted this tournament to be... "bring your A game vs my A game" type of tourney.. not... come at me bro... but no lethals,tacticals, m27,peacemaker, lsats, rpgs, mms, or im not gonna play you.. i didn't use any lethals or tacticals in the tourney.. cus i dont use any tacticals and lethals when i play... that doesn't mean i can make everyone to stoop to my level...

i'm pretty sure if sheets and i met up again in playoffs we wouldn't be able to agree though.  i found myself agreeing to things i didn't think made for an even match and regretted later

one thing i think everyone can agree on is, no more dropping out.  we're not talking about devoting an afternoon here.  even if u do one game at a time that takes what, 15 minutes?

Wait, what did I make you agree to. You requested hardcore, no nuketown, no tacs, no lethals, and after the first round I let you be host for the next 4 games. The only thing I requested was that we play half if our matches on core because it was supposed to be a core tournament.

i think that is probably the disconnect here if u think it was supposed to be a core tournament.  my game with u was the first time i played core in the tourny.  i played rasping, all hc.  i played pyro all hc. it was only the 3rd round when i met u that i finally played core.  it wasn't supposed to be hc either.  it was whatever made sense given the two opponents from how i understood it.  to me it didn't make sense to switch it up only because u kick ass at both, and i literally have never had one single beast game in core in hundreds of games between bo2 and mw3.  that said, u can easily make the argument that we split our core games, u won 15-14, and i won 15-12.  i feel like i got lucky to get that close, but at the same time missed out on a lot of kills where i only put 2 or 3 bullets in u instead of whatever it takes.  definitely missed some kills a good core player wouldn't have.  but u know what, maybe it's not that big of a deal in 1v1 afterall? mixed feelings. i was one point away from winning both core games so maybe 1v1 it really doesn't matter

and u didn't 'make' me lol.  i was just taken by surprise and said ok when i felt like saying no u are good at both u play hc!

sparro:  while they'd love to give ray lewis the award since it'd make a nice story.  the odds are against it like sheets says.  a) his team needs to win and that's fairly unlikely.  b) it usually goes to offensive guys c) he's already pulled a golden horseshoe out of his ass and won one already.  the odds of two are staggering d) he's pretty old, which is why he's retiring after this so the odds of him having a monster game aren't great.  of course age means nothing in his last game hyped on adrenaline and knowing it's his last time to shine in the biggest game the sport has to offer

Oh and by the way, when flex and sheets do battle, record that shit, upload to youtube and put it up on here, i wanna see it, commentary would be an added bonus if possible.
