epic hero - It's one of my favorite games this gen but not the best. The loot system is terrible and makes exploring dungeons not really worth it because 99% of the time you won't find anything worth a shit.

Fallout 3 was better IMO.

anthonyMI - I'm getting burnt out on shooters after playing them for so many years and ultimately not having much of anything actually new. Dealing with 13 year olds calling me a faggot is also slowly losing its appeal.

I've never had any of the other players in Skyrim multiplayer call me names or be anything but normal. Aside from getting trolled by a bunch of them saying the same in-game voice chat about an arrow in the knee.

Everyone usually takes their role very seriously and sticks to the script.

I had the same problem with skyrim as oblivion the main quest sucks compared to the rest of the game and the side quests

Looking forward to next fallout

Its a decent adventure game but for a supposed RPG and especially an elder scrolls game, it lacks a lot of things that made the previous games so memorable.

Skyrim was good but doesn't touch Morrowind when it comes to GoaT.

My character was maxed out on everything but luck and had many attributes well over 100. He was a God among mortals bit it took along damn time to get that. Skyrim you were pretty much goldly around level 30 especially if you use your followers.

I had my house of redoran as my shrine to all my cool shit, I would steal every candle I could find to luminate my precious'. I would spend hours organizing my items on shelves and tables so that the fell just right.

I wish I still had my original Xbox with all the saves on it just so I could play it again

Morrowinds story is the best ever when it comes to fantasy RPG IMO. Phone Post

AlexanderTheGOAT - It's big and fun. Certain parts become really tedious though and the combat system is not my favorite. I like RPGs but prefer a less labor intensive RPGs. I take Mass Effect over skyrim for that reason. I also think bioshock is up there. Phone Post

Whambo - long , repetitive and easy as hell doesn't equal fun ya know.
Awww, you played on the easiest setting huh? Phone Post

Nope, I haven't played in ages but I have it on the one higher than the defeault setting. Maybe it's simply called "hard".

Are you denying that certain areas are repetitive like those dwarf ruins? There is quite a lot of them, and there isn't much payoff at the end.

I could apply this to a lot of different area types. I would have preferred more quality to the areas over quantity and length of them.

vegetable soup + smithing + enchanting = easy on master level

One of my favorite games ever; I just wish the combat was more advanced. I know it's not the main focus of the gameplay, but imagine if as much attention was paid to the combat as the rest of the game.

Did any of you play on the PC and get that patch that makes the graphics amazing?

I heard about that but haven't looked into it.  Sounds intriguing.

Skyrim is worth a playthrough but there are a lot of things I wish were different about it. I think the Elder Scrolls series is getting better in some aspects and worse in others.

I agree with those who said Morrowind is still the best game in the series. It has its flaws and is really unpolished compared to today's games, but I can still pick it up and get sucked in for hours. The newer games don't really have that kind of spark.

Plus the main quest is a very very good piece of story writing (much better than Oblivion, Skyrim, or almost any other game).

I love Dark Souls, that game kept me from playing Skyrim, as I got both at the same time. Since beating Dark Souls, other RPG's have paled in comparison to me. I do play a lot of Fall Out 3 though...I'm just about to complete all the expansion packs. After that, its on to New Vegas and Skyrim(since it's so highly regarded here). Phone Post

Only 144 hours? I'm ashamed to say I'm over 260.

...and STILL going.

Like seriously, if they charged $200 for this game, I'd still buy it in a second. The amount of hours of enjoyment you get from this game is amazing.

I don't think it's the best game this year. The Walking Dead easily beats it

I loved the walking dead, but your comment borders on retarded.
1. Its not even close to as good as skyrim.
2. Skyrim was released 11 11 11 Phone Post

It was good but I miss the human component of multiplayer games. 1 player games always have a hollow feeling to me because of it.
