Shogun of Harlem - Never went the civilian route for it. My suggestion is look at some schools. I am pretty sure you will start with ground training, which will be reading instruments, then start with an instructor on the flight training.

Try a flying club, where you can rent a plane. Owning one is a lot of work.

Be prepared to be humbled and if you can't take a simple joke from Bob's App, then maybe you shouldn't try it.

There's a difference in a simple joke and someone stalking you on every post you make to try and sound funny. I'm a mechanic and was in the Army, so I know the difference in someone just fucking around.d with you and being a straight dickhead. If flight instructors degrade you, then you're right and I don't even need to worry about it.

I am not saying they "degrade" you, but they will get on you for things you may think is simple, but really isn't.

Then he got his feelings hurt even more when i said i thought landing a plane on an aircraft carrier at night was easy (as if being an air traffic controller and a 10 year vet of the military would actually let me believe that)

Please inform me at what point I was caught lying? Only you are claiming this. I can't look up the scores online, being that I took them 4 years before they started an online database. Do what I did, OP. Date a girl whose parents live in a subdivision whose residents pay for the maintenance of a grass (yes grass) landing strip. And everyone who faces the strip has a garage that is for parking their planes in.

Then have the neighbor take you up in his 2-seater and teach you very basic things at altitude.

It's a blast, but doesn't count towards licensure.

Do this several times until one day you're helping him push the plane back in the garage when you notice smoke coming from the engine compartment. 2-weeks later he crashed with his grandchild, but both made full recoveries.

Needless to say I never rode in or flew a little plane again.

Now I feel terrible. I had no idea he was creating this thread for the betterment of the world. Sorry Brent Piss. I should have known someone with a 30-32(ish) ACT would never have posted a thread that was not of monumental importance. I did find a way to help nader though...because he only lies about not being gay. If he took a test to see how gay he is, he would tell us the real score though.
