The National Capital Fit Day would like to invite all the academies to join us for the OTTAWA INTERNATIONAL BJJ CHAMPIONSHIP on the 16th of June 2012. The tournament will be taking place at the National Capital Fit Day EXPO, which will be located in Hall 2 of the brand new state-of-the-art CE Centre in the Nation`s Capital. CE Centre – Ottawa 4899 Uplands Drive Ottawa, Ontario K1V 2N6 • Gi - All belts and weight classes. • Divisions for kids, youth, teens, junior, adult, women and masters(30-39 yrs old) and seniors(40 yrs old and up). • No-Gi – Adult, women, junior and master • Door will open at 8:00 am • On line registration will be available soon at nationalcapitalfitday.com • Competition will begin at 9:00 am • Rules following IBJJF standard. • All competitors have to wear a Gi uniform all Blue, White or Black. • For No-Gi all competitor have to wear rash guard. • All competitors must be a OJA members. (OJA - Ontario Jiu-Jitsu Association) • If you are not an OJA member already you will have the opportunity to register at the day of the tournament. Women Gi division: a) white belt b) Blue belt c) Purple/Brown/Black Belt. There will be Blue Absolute Division and a Purple/Brown/Black Belt Absolute Division. Women No Gi division : a) White b) Blue c) Purple/Brown/Black. There will be Blue Absolute Division and a Purple/Brown/Black Belt Absolute Division. For more information go to nationalcapitalfitday.com Registration fees for the competitors includes: access to the trade show, sports, all fitness classes and kids zone. • $40 for Kids • $70 (Juvenile, adults, women, masters and seniors) for Gi or for No-Gi • $80 (Juvenile, adults, women, masters and seniors) if competitors signed up for both Gi and No-Gi All spectators are welcome (Trade show fees will apply) Free entry for children under 12. The UFC veteran Patrick "The Predator" Cote confirmed that he will be competing at the Ottawa International BJJ Championship on June 16 at the Fit Day. Another great Canadian athlete supporting The National Capital Fit Day.

THE OTTAWA INTERNATIONAL BJJ CHAMPIONSHIPS will be sanctioned by the Ontario Jiu-Jitsu Association (OJA), under the rules of the IBJJF Competitors are required to have an OJA Membership, which you can obtain by visiting http://www.ontariojiujitsu.com or you can register the day of the tournament. Online registration will be available soon.
