I'm a tried-and-true Vikings fan, and I would go so far as to say: "no matter how good the vikes look, do. not. bet. on. them. winning. the. game. tomorrow. to. get. into. the. playoffs." This whole "needing a win to get in" thing has a REALLY familiar feeling to it..........I'm nervous. I think they can do it though. Just wouldn't put money on it :) |

Reaching the superbowl perhaps they are in the NFC after all. But winning it all, no way. |

I would not say the Viks could not win it this year. They could have the best Dline ever assembled in the NFL, their offensive line is one of the top 3-5 in the NFL, and All Day is going to show that he is the best running back in the NFL this year. The Vikings chances come down to Tavaris Jackson. If he can be a Trent Dilfer and not make mistakes at key times and just manages the game I think the Vikings can beat anyone. The Giants proved last year that the team with the best offensive and defensive lines stands a good chance of going far into the playoffs. Now they had some intangibles that the Vikings have not showed they have (i.e. a QB) but their lines are amazing. If Jackson cannot put points up in a Brad Childress offense one or both will have to go. 303 |

The Giants proved last year that the team with the best offensive and defensive lines stands a good chance of going far into the playoffs. Thank God for the 2007 Giants showing the rest of the league this. I mean, think how dominant the Steelers in the 70's would have been if they had that figured out. Or the 60's Packers. Or the Cowboys of the 90's. The 2007 Giants have done more than win a championship - They've changed the course of the NFL, IMO! |

"their offensive line is one of the top 3-5 in the NFL, and All Day is going to show that he is the best running back in the NFL this year." Hmmmmmmmm...gameplan against the Vikings offense...how about we stack 8 in the box? And let them try to beat us in the AIR? |

It's not like teams didn't do that last year. |
