Honestly, I think they screwed up having Punk drop that killer promo before Rock. Nothing was topping that. Rock's about to understand what Cena felt like last year. Or remember how Hogan was over him.

Even the kid friendly Rock is still better than this CM Punk guy. His gimmick is to go out of character and "expose" the business to get cool with the teenagers on the internet. Rock got cookiepuss over for pete's sake. |

I'm also probably going to watch raw every week until Mania since there's no football. might actually order the rumble. I hope the show isn't 3 hours every week though. It gets boring really quickly |

Yawn. If Punk loses, its such a mistake. That promo really turned up the heat on his heeling, losing the belt erases all of it. Rocks schtick is awful, he's too big for WWE, and if he gasses early like he did vs Cena we're in for a shitty match.

Rock's lines were played out in 2001. Shit, I remember when the fans booed his ass at Summerslam vs Lesnar. The only reason he is getting pops is for the nostalgia factor. |

Rock's act is a bit dated, but he still brings out the best in everyone he is associated with. Punk proved that he would have more than held his own with the Attitude Era stars if he has reached stardom 15 years earlier. It really does show just how ridiculously talented the Rock is that he can come back after all these years on a sporadic basis and still be so damn good at garnering a reaction.

I honestly think if Rock was around even semi-regularly, people would get tired of him pretty quickly. I'm Rocky fan and all, but he's calling it in. Hell, he's not even just using the same catchphrases. The whole line about getting up at 4am, sending out his early AM tweet, having his breakfast, going to the gym, driving to *insert place here* was shit he did last year. |

That crowd was awful. During Punks amazing promo, all the people in camera view behind him were just waving and acting like assholes to get on tv.
