Good stuff. It is a fun process. I'm very happy I built mine. Post some pics when it's completed. Here's mine: http://www.mixedmartialarts.com/mma.cfm?go=forum.posts&forum=84&thread=2031903&page=1 |

Will do bro. I'm probably dropping the blu-ray and getting a regular optical drive. I'm also going to go with a 240GB SSD a little later. I just want to get it built and then see where I can upgrade from there. Will do bro. It's crazy how prices go up and down with these thing. |

It takes my pc about 10-15 seconds from powered off to desktop. Thing is lightning fast. |

I'd get the SSD straight off, moving your OS would be a pain in the ass and you'll want it on your SSD. |

Also, what games will you be playing? You could basically get a cheaper SSD with enough GB to put the OS on and put your games on a hard drive. I got a 240gb SSD and I only have Windows OS, WoW and Diablo 3 installed on it, while the rest of my games are installed on my HDD. SSD only really helps with load times and whatnot, so zoning in WoW is almost instant for me, but that's about it. I still have around 176gb open on my SSD lol. |

I would probably only put BF3 and the OS on it. Most other games I'm planning on getting could go on the HDD. |

LindeUsesMyMouthAsAToilet -It should be enough but I would some research on how many GB BF 3 takes up. I think Windows is about 20-30gb but don't quote me on that. I would go for either a 90 or 120gb ssd just to be safe and to future proof. Check out some of them on Newegg. They run anywhere between 70-100$.slugshot331 -LindeUsesMyMouthAsAToilet - I would probably only put BF3 and the OS on it. There's a few 128GB one's on Newegg for around the $80 range. I'll be watching those to see if the price drops some in the next few weeks. |

There you go then. That's more than enough for Windows and BF3 and you'll have headroom for future proofing. |

Also... I'm on the fence about the Noctua NH-D14 and the H100. I've seen mixed reviews as to which is the best with overclocking. I'm steering towards the H100 simply for the space that I'll save. I've been holding of on ordering a cooler because I want to maintain good temps. |

Go with the 128gb SSD. I've got a 64gb and the OS and a few applications (Word, Photoshop, iTunes, VLC plus a couple of other bits) leaves me with about 18-20gb spare. Add in the extra space for a few system restore points and you won't have much left. James |

I would have most everything here, but NCIX can't verify my cerdit card's billing address and didn't decide to let me know until this morning. I looked around on Newegg and found a CPU/mobo bundle for a few bucks more than I was going to pay and the mobo is a step up from the one I was going with. I do feel like a crackhead lol |
