Lol yea. The motherboard and CPU should be here tomorrow and the case and cooler sometime later this week. I have to wait until next week to order the memory, ssd, and optical drive because I had to dip into my building fund for some late season Tiki Tubing with friends. |

I have a 64GB SSD with my OS, apps, and BF3 (and saved games for most games) on it and have about 7 GB left. Definitely go for 120GB at least, in my opinion. There's also a program called Steam Mover that will let you move games to a different drive and move them back at your leisure and this can be done for non-Steam games also I've heard. I paid $114.99 for the 64GB I purchased a year ago and the 120GB are now cheaper than that so I will be upgrading myself soon. |

Because of this thread I am finally building my first computer. That pcpartpicker.com site was a huge help. Everything but my monitor will be in today. Pretty damn exciting. I will post pictures and specs when I am finished. Same processor and gpu as you. Here's to hoping nothing is DOA. |

I'm just going to put mine there. I'll link it for you. |

BrentP -Lol damn. I should be getting a new monitor soon (120hz refresh rate) because my current monitor is only 60hz and there is so much tearing since I get well over 60fps.Bisping_GMWOAT -

Just couldn't budget it in yet, so I went with one of the better IPS panels I could find. If I see tearing, I can always set my GPU to 60fps with PrecisionX software. |

It was sent back for some reason. I contacted UPS and Newegg and it's being sent back on Monday. So hopefully by Wednesday I'll be up and running. |

Mine ended up costing a little over 1k, but that's because I went the Intel route with a slightly higher end video card. To be able to play the games, you can go the AMD route which is much cheaper. You can google gaming builds for around $500 bucks and there's a bunch of websites and people that have done them. |
