That picture doesn't tell half the story. There is 20m's of pipping, which in your convoluted tongue is something like 60-70 feet. I've either got a happy, or very tired ferret... :) Elvis |

Bah Canada, North America, it's all the same... :p Well I know she loves it. I gave her a bit of food when she was out of the cage and she grabbed it and tore into to hide it away for later. Elvis |

Elvis - I like the pipe maze. Was that a made-for-pets product or was it something you cobbled together from parts from the local hardware store - I'd like to put something similar together for my pet rats. |

That was made from what we call Ag pipe (Agriculture pipe, also known as drainage pipe). Just bought a 20m roll and a bunch of connectors and hoofed it all together. Drainage pipe is good because it has lots and lots of little holes all the way along it (so ground water can seep into it and drain off). Stops them stinking up or getting oxygen deprivation. Elvis |

My buddy used to have a ferret. He put a bell on it and let it have freedom to run the house. No cage. Thank god for that bell or I would have stepped on it many times. |

My ferret has the bell and collar as well. I just like to have her in the cage when I'm not around. When I'm home I let her out and she tears around the house tormenting the dogs. Ag pipe is fun to play with, can be cut with a sharp craft knife and is flexible as well. I'm now in the process of building a mini aviary for my rescue lorikeets. Elvis |

That bell is a good idea for any small pet. Did it come with the harness or did you did you retrofit it? I'd like to do that with my rats but I can't even get them to put on the harness in the first place. |

Ophelia came with a harness. She's really good actually and lets me put it on without too much squirming. Elvis |

LOL... yes the harness came with the bell. I was lucky when I got Ophelia, she came with Harness, leads, bed, & toys. I got her from a Ferret shelter. Elvis |

Elvis that is an awesome little Ferret playground My girlfriend has two ferrets named Linus and Mia i never appreciated ferrets until i met her and started playing with them. They really are very playful animals and really cute. that tube enclosure is really cool, probably keeps your ferret busy for hours |

Thanks for that. Yeah, hopefully she gets some good use out of it. I wanted something she could use when locked up. She is very playful too. Elvis |

My gf was watching some show last night where a girl got her face eated off by a ferret. Those things are evil. |

LOL where the heck did this thread come from... And double LOL I never noticed Daisy in the background pic before... And Ferrets are not evil.. they're just playful... they can't help it if they like a nibble... I'm sure the reason that girl had her face chewed off is because her nose must've looked like a toe... Ferrets LOVE toes! :) |

Elvis, I think you've gained a new fan. My wife had 3 ferrets when I started seeing her. About 2 yrs ago the last one finally died but she still loves ferrets but is focusing on the dogs. I'm sure there will be another day when she gets ferrets though. Anyway, I think my wife is a new fan of yours. |
