As most of you know, I am a wildlife carer. The other day I got a call out for a bird rescue... Wouldn't believe it, it was an Australia Hobby (Little Falcon). Beautiful bird. It must've had a concussion cause this little girl was trying to hand feed it in a cardboard box (had seed, cabanossi, fruit, etc). Was really cool getting to look after it for a couple of days. I had to hand it on as I don't have a Raptors licence (can't keep it for more than 3 days). I kicked myself when I realised I forgot to take pictures of it. Aaaarrrrggggghhhhhh! Elvis |

Damn was just at the zoo here the other day for the first time in a year or two and had forgotten that they have open air enclosures with raptors loose inside. Very cool to be a couple of feet away from some very un-afraid birds. |

Yeah, the Little Falcon is very similar to a Kestrel. Really a very beautiful bird. Was cool to watch him tear up his meals. Elvis |

Next year I plan to do the raptor course and get licensed to look after them. Elvis |
