The article says three pictures were taken, but I can only find one.... 
Jaws versus jaws
THIS was the astonishing real-life moment when two of nature's most dangerous predators clashed in a fight to the death.
In a violent struggle, captured by a mystery photographer, a hungry crocodile stalked and then attacked this shark on a northern Australian mud flat.
Territory ranger and croc catcher Tom Nichols said this week that he had never seen anything like it.
"I've seen crocs with barra or other fish in their jaws, but never a shark," Mr Nichols said.
The unknown photographer took three stunning photos within seconds of each other as the croc savaged the shark.
Crocs are territorial and the bull shark never had a chance once it entered the big saltie's domain.
The pictures were shot near the north Queensland town of Weipa.

I doubt that was real. I do not believe the shark could survive in that muddy of a climate. Their gills are different that fish gills. Prolly shopped. If it were real the situation would differ greatly if say a carcharodon carcharias or a galeocerdo cuvieri were to go up against the croc in open salt water. |

I dont think it was shopped, but the shark was probably almost dead anyways from being stuck in the mud. Have the croc take a swim and see what happens. |

I'd bet on the croc. These things get to be about 23 feet long, a couple thousand pounds and are more maneuverable. Nothing messes with giant saltwater crocs...not even Jaws. |

What you guys and gals don't know is that the most fierce animal by far is the mud crab. Look at it here taking on a saltwater crocodile.

That was some crazy shit. Some kids just playing in the river and BOOM one kid goes under. The shark killed a couple kids and even killed the guy trying to rescue them. |

Unfair fight- shark in a mudflat?...what chance did it have? open water, even 3ft shallow would be a fairer environment for the shark- |
