I'm anxious for the Shamrock vs Franklin line to open up. Praying the public jumps all over Shamrock cause I think this one is a total mismatch and the end of the line for Ken. Horrible matchmaking if the UFC was interested in a Shamrock vs Ortiz rematch, which they should have been since that was their best selling PPV. |

Chuck's ass is grass. Trigg is a way better value at +185 IMO. Shammy is dead. |

What a differnce a year makes. Randy was -225 against Chuck in the rematch and for UFC 57, Chuck opened -140 and went as high as -225 b4 being bet down. Randy has superb in the underdog roll.....and average as the favorite. |

Punters only remember the last fight? Always seems to be that way. Ur only as good as ur last win or loss in the fight game. Castillo-Corralles 3 was great example, though it was cancelled. Opened Castillo -140 and went to him -220 FAST. |

"Punters only remember the last fight?" All you need to do is look at this UFC for proof. It seems obvious the odds were set with this in mind. Some of these odds are way out of whack with reality, but I realize it is not Joey's job to set them where he thinks they should be, rather to set them where he will see balanced action, for the most part. |

rather to set them where he will see balanced action, for the most part. 100% correct. Its really that simple. I learned a long time ago my job is to generate a number that generates 2 way action as opposed to trying 2 predict the winners over every single bout. But the learning stage was brutal. |
