Morocco, Mali, Algeria, Tunisia... Anyone ever been to any of these places? I close my eyes and see the Atlas Mountains... Timbuktu... a blue sky and a desert earth... |

My friend is a diplomat and was posted in Morocco. Was in Marrakech but travelled to Fez and Casablanca when she had the chance. One of her favorite postings. Was actually thinking of going there with my girlfriend through Club Med but it was right after 911 and decided to stay home. |

Morocco is a great place, a night (or a day) in Jamaa el Fna in Marrakech is priceless !! Don't close yourself in a Club Med, going around is cheap, the people is really friendly and yes, you can smoke good hashis there ;) |

It looks like Algeria is probably not a smart choice given the political climate, but thanks for the info on Morocco. |

just sew a canadian flag into every article of clothing you wear, add lots of eh's and say aboot aboot 50 times a day and you'll be fine, eh. i think that aboot covers it. " Its funny you should say this. My economics professor actually did this while backpacking through europe, also when he was in the middle east, north africa |

^ that is funny lol. In China I was told to say that I'm from Africa rather than America so as not to be ripped off as much, but I just couldn't fake the funk. Pretty sure I could half-way blend in amongst Africans though. ;) |

lol @ you still thinking that the TravelGround is yours! lmao! such a cute kid! maybe in the future when I choose to retire as THE ruler of the TravelGround, I will consider passing it on to you. But let me tell you something HELWIG...coming on to my TravelGround and posting all these lies is not helping your chances. In fact, I'm thinking about banning you from my TravelGround for a little while...kind of like a time-out. watch yourself HELWIG, I run a tight ship around here. yours truly, TRISTAR, Ruler of the TravelGround |
