I've been reading Moore's "Principia Ethica" this past week and was just wondering if anyone thinks that Moore's open question argument successfully establishes that the naturalistic fallacy is a fallacy? At this point I'm inclined to think that it does...any thoughts? |

I haven´t read that book, but yes, I think the naturalistic fallacy is indeed a genuine fallacy. if you have read the book, care to expand abit on Moore´s argument that you refer to? |

I have not read Moore's account for a while, but I too believe that it is a genuine fallacy. I was just writing about it today in an essay about biological determinism/sociobiology.. I dont think its wrong to say that norms/nature are morally right though, as long as you are explicit and argue for it |
