I think that if I managed a fighter, I would think twice about allowing him to fight Kyle. I don't know Mike Kyle personally, but he clearly has issues with anger/judgement and should be suspended/banned and be ordered to enroll in some serious counselling. If Kyle refuses that, he can make a living outside the sport of MMA. Everyone always says that the number one factor is fighter safety. That's why they stop fights early sometimes....but where is the action to protect fighters in these situations? Swift action needs to taken against Kyle to afford fighters peace of mind that they are in fact protected. my .02 |

Kyle has not only embarrassed himself but his team. The guy is a disgrace to the sport. I can't understand having a scumbag like him represent my team. The guy is a crappy fighter and deserves no respect. Fuck him! I will never give another dime to a company that supports that fuck. |

Kyle, by even bringing up the supposed "shit talking" incident between himself and Olsen's guys shows that it was a factor in his behavior in the ring. Why else even mention it while the interviewer is basically questioning you about the actions that led to disqualification. Kyle was pissed, he took it out on Olsen, and ended Olsen's career. What a fucking punk. He should never fight in a sanctioned event again. Go ahead and do some underground fight to the death shit (lol), but not legit MMA.. |

omaplata, fair enough until you see the tape. however I hope you dont thing our sport has the nature of the beast presents. MMA is a sport, though it is the toughest sport in the world and requires hiiting and getting hit still equals sport. Mike Kyle crossed the line of it being sportman like. The UFC transformed NHB to a sport. Jon Macanroe was huge fo tennis and people loved wathching to see what he did next. Regardless he is a very angry man who has violent issues, this is also the case with Kyle. He takes not his emotions into the ring but rather his anger/violence and lack of respect for his apponent and the sport |

Mike, I think it's an unfair comparison between Johnny Mac and Mike Kyle... I see where you are going, but I think the major difference is that unless you are a sniper with a tennis ball, it's pretty hard to seriously hurt someone in Tennis, unlike fighting where the nature of the sport IS to hurt people. Promoters should really judge whether or not they want to have certain fighters on their shows, because some of them have issues with rules, and in the end the fighters' safety has to be the #1 priority. Mike Kyle has shown repeatedly that he can't follow the rules, and he needs to never fight in the USA or Japan, or anywhere for that matter. If Kyle keeps fighting, we're headed back to the good old dark ages of MMA where anything goes because our officials and owners are pussies. TTT for Johnny Mac!!!!! I support the ban! |
