Now I know the majority of yas got this game, and dammit, I'm addicted already. I just finished my first season, tell me about yours.... I played as West Ham...... Finished in 8th, would have finished in 5th but I lost my last 4 games, including 3 against the three teams regulated..... Watford, Fulham, and Sheff United Top scorer - Cole and Zamora with 10 a piece Assists - Benayoun with 12 Early exits in all three Cups Tevez had seven goals in the first couple of months then demanded a transfer because he couldn't settle in. Made the second best transfer of the season by signing Anthony Vanden Borre for 4 mill. Can't remember what was determined the best. Top League scorer was Anelka. |

You finished a season already, damn, it's gonna take me like two months. I don't have the game yet. It's supposed to get here on the 14th. I played the demo though. |

Anelka is quality in it. I'm only a few games into it, Newcastle are as shite in it as they are in real life. Sold Shay Given to Bayern Munich and now I am troubled by guilt. I miss him. I have downloaded the logos and player pics but can't find where to put them in my FM07 folder. Anyone know? BTW the game supposedly has shit loads of bugs to keep an eye out for a patch being released. |

Sorted the logos and players pics and kits and stuff. Not doing too badly now, Harper is as good as Given so that was a good decision. Have beaten Chelsea at home and Arsenal away and currently lie in 6th. One ridiculously unrealistic part of the game is how good Shola Ameobi and Titus Bramble are. |

Arsenal actually won the premiership in my season, but I beat them by a combined score of 11 - 1. They were the only team I beat like that. My first win was 7- 0 then the next was a little closer at 4-1. If it wasn't for those games my goal differential would have been +2 at the most. |

Damn what tactics did you use? My game arrived, my fulham are 1-1-1, not too far into it as you can see. I have my assistant coach do the team talks. I do like the feeder club system though. |

The best advice I can give is if ya using a not-so-good team. Then use the 4-4-2 defensive formation. Work your team on the counterattack and make sure the central defenders have their mentalities turned right down to zero. Also have your defensive line play deep, or the quick forwards will get right behind ya. I haven't gotten much use with the feeder system. But I have a shitty Gilligham as my feeder club. And sign Vanden Borre. You can get him for around 4 mill. He's only 19, and hes awsome defensively, but still has good enough offensive skills to play as a midfielder. |

How easy is it to get into the game? I bought Tiger Woods golf for my Uncle's Christmas present a few years back, and he loves it. Hoping the same trick might work with me Dad and FM. He doesnt know computers, but knows a shit load about football. |

Not just winning but winning AT ARSENAL!! Ridiculous. Tony I've played this for as long as I can remember so can't recall if it took much getting into. I can assure you it's not easy to get off. |

I found out in the last one, and it seems to hold in this one, that setting defensive line play to "deep" really helps against the counterattack and takes very little away from your offense. I play what I guess you'd call a 4-3-3, with a DM, two CMs, AML/AMR, and a lone striker. If I need more defense I can replace a CM with a DM and bring my wings back into normal midfield positions. |

This game is very addictive. Not sure how much and old-timer would get into it. If your dad is and old-timer that is. I just had a takeover at my club and the new boss made me sell Mascherano for 33 million, the jackass. And to top it all off Corinthians got 80% of my transfer fee, so I only made about 8 mill off the deal. Now I have a huge hole in my midfield that Mark Noble is gonna have to fill. |

That Vanden Borre better be good, I've agreed to sign him in the transfer window. His concentration is only 3 though, does he not make a load of mistakes? |

Nah, He never makes mistakes for me. He is definately quality. If ya look any any lists people have for good young signings, Vanden Borre is always up there. I'd recommend not playing him as a centre-back. Put him on the right side, or train him to play in the midfield. Francisco Merida is also a good signing to reccommend. But he's really young, and a little pricey. |

I think concentration matters more for strikers. Decisions is the stat that determines whether a defender will fuck up. |

LOL after I posted that I saw one of those "tip" things while I was saving and it said "defenders with a low concentration value are more likely to make costly mistakes in defense." So don't listen to me. |

I have it, but I'm too invested in my current FM 2006 game to start a new one right now. I'm in my 8th season managing Celtic and England. |
