ttt also. Stewed Owl... thanks for keeping this list. It is great and very helpful for those from out of town. I have heard that Jerry Laurita may be opening a school way out on the west side. Finally, a school may be coming out here. Great news if it's true. |

Jerry is opening a school in Litchfield Park, I believe off of Dysart. Should be up and running by February. Jerry will be the main instructor. |

I was by there last week. I did see contractors in there. Last time I spoke to Jerry, he was getting jerked around by some bureaucrats. |

The school at Dysart and Glendale is open! I trained there last week. about 12 students so far, one blue belt and one purple belt. The school is very nice. It's located on Dysart, just south of Glendale on the west side of Dysart. |

Looks like I will be starting Sunday classes again. Just a basic workout consisting of approx. 45 min conditioning & drills, 45 min. kickboxing, 45 min grappling, and 45 min of MMA training or sparring. Just a general guidline. It's roughly a 3 hour class for a $10 mat fee. Times are from 1pm to 4pm most Sundays. This is not competition oriented. Its only a once a week opportunity to workout with No politics and No school affiliation. Everyone is welcome to just come and train with new people when they want. Will most likely begin Nov. 12th With holidays and prior commitments, the schedule will be a little scattered. Good to hear it, Darrell! Here's a new one I saw in a free handout newspaper. I have no info on who runs it, though: Southwest Mixed Martial Arts - 1813 E. Baseline Road, Suite 104 (Southwest corner of Baseline and McClintock, next to B&B Pools) 480-274-7637. Advertises that they teach Jiu-Jitsu, Judo, and Kickboxing. |
