hunt boar and shoot skeet with a pistol grip shotgun? I know it's lame but I think they look really cool and am a novice. |

Well, you could probably do both, but very badly. The difference being that when you shoot skeet badly you get a bad score, but when you shoot boar badly you can get badly gored. |

No offense but when you are choosing a firearm to hunt animals function comes first especially when you are a novice. Pistol grip shotguns (I'm assuming pistol grip only with no shoulder stock at all) are much more difficult to shoot accurately than shotguns with shoulder stocks. |

I know, but the retard comment was uncalled for. I am going on a wild boar hunt with dogs in the everglades fla. I am leaning towards knife hunting now, although I have never done it. There are even some pics on the sight of japanes dudes that did it with katanas! |

If you are going to go for primitive hunting do spear first. Unless you know what you are doing with a knife, your going to get hurt.....BAD. Cold Steel makes a good boar hunting spear. My advice, as a guy whose killed a hog with a knife, kill one with a long handled spear first |
