I´m looking for an artist who might be interested in collaborating on a project about the legendary Judoka Masahiko Kimura(the guy who snapped Helio´s arm in the 50´s). After reading his bio at judoinfo.com I´ve come to the conclusion that his life would make a really enthralling story, and since I´ve been looking for a worthwhile project to writhe a comic script about, I´ve decided to play around with this one. Interested parties would have to have A: Decent drawing skills, particularly human anatomy and motion especially as it pertains to grappling and throwing. B: A passion for Judo, grappling and fighting in general and C: a scanner to e-mail me sketches, test pages etc. If anything comes of this project then of course the credit will be split 50/50 but at this stage I´m thinking of this as more of a hobby thing, something cool to do as practice. Send me a private message if you are interested. |

I knew a guy named Einar. His full name was Lars Einar Wilhelm Vaern. He wasn't a filmmaker, but he translated The Seventh Seal for us better than the subtitles. |

Basically I just want the subtitles translated properly. He said it was an old form of the Swedish language, so do you speak that? |

Best of luck to you in finding an artist. Having worked in comics for several years, I know how hard it is to find people well-suited to historical pieces. I wish I was the kind of artist you're looking for, as it sounds like a great idea for a comic. |
