It's been approx. a year & a half since i graduated highschool (i graduated in June of 2005), and i'm still unsure about what i want to do in life. When I did graduate, it seemed as if i was the only person who hadn't secured a college. Most of my friends often boasting about how they'd been accepted into so-and-so university, or how they were "touring" the colleges they'd been accepted into... and there i was like a misguided idiot, aspiring for other things. Do you think it's too late for me to start? Was there many 20-21 yr/old freshman when you went? WHat advice can you give me? bjjd |

I went in at 20. Two years of slinging hash was great motivation! |

You will be fine. It's perfectly normal to take a break between high school and college. In fact I probably should have. Also, I live in Utah so it's the norm to see a lot of 21-22 year first year students since they returning missionaries. |

LOL, I'm also 29 and don't know what I want to be when I grow up. I started college at 19. There were people from 17 to like 65 in the first year classes. You'll be fine. |

i started at 32 and I am still attending. I think the chicks like the fact I am older. I am more mature, have life experience and don't act like a punk gang banger wanna be. Plus I have a nice vehicle and a steady job. |

LoL 20!? Homie I got 60 year olds in my classes. No one will really care to tell you the truth. Also, a lot of people in college end up switching majors or failing cuz they party too much so basically you'll probably have as many credits after one year compared to someone whose been there for 2 or 3. |

It's less about going to college and more about finding out what YOU want to do in life. Get that figured out first, otherwise you're just wasting your time. |

Think about what your options are without college. I'm not saying that you can't be successful without it, but IMHO the odds are stacked against you without a degree. Go to school. There are a ton of hot chicks there. |

40 isn't too old. How old would you be if you didn't do it? |
