Frontin, I'm not sure why you said "Moose (Caribou)" Not only are they not the same animal, a Moose is nearly 1,000 pounds heavier |

I would actually love to see a hippo matched up with some of the animals on your list. They are absolute monsters, but in reality would they be able to maneuver enough to crush a grizzly? Granted, I know animals don't develop "gameplans" for their opponents, but if bears fight smart and circle away from that mouth, I think they'd be victorious more often than not. I don't know shit about rhinos, so I won't go there. I also like gorilla over anything in the cat family. Zuffa, make it happen. |

Although lions are born fighters, they aren't all that big. Even tigers have a significant size advantage. I'd imagine that's why he left them out. |

Turtle, hippos outweigh bears by 5,000+ pounds. When the hippo bites the bear, which it would do eventually, the bear is done, simple as that. Gorillas would lose to any tiger, any lion and any leopard. There are plenty of documentations of leopards whoopin' on gorillas. Souljacker, is that a troll, or do you really see a lion in a one on one battle, beating any of those 10? |

a male lion can take a moose and a water buffalo so Im sure they can take a bull, thats 3 off the list. The bears are a toss up and lions do kill Giraffes |

Souljacker, dude, it takes more than one lion to take down a giraffe. That is a fact. This is one on one. Also, there is a video of a bull (cattle) fucking up a male lion. Moose and water buffalo ONE on ONE would beat a lion. It's almost a guarantee. No way would a male lion take on a healthy, adult water buffalo |

Really? Leopards beat gorillas 1-on-1? That disappoints me. Gorillas should be more badass than that |

discover science says gorilla beats leopard Yeah I know, computer simulation, don't flame me for that. Just pointing out I'm not the only one with this opinion. |

Leopard vs gorilla is close, but I've seen plenty of docs of leopards besting gorillas. Keep this in mind, turtle: Leopards max at just over 200 pounds. Gorillas weigh 400-450ish. Now, if a leopard at 200 gives them such trouble, imagine lions and tigers |

Jwizard Im certainly no expert on animalfights but I do know male Lions can take down a giraffe but do not often do because of the size "Moose and water buffalo ONE on ONE would beat a lion. It's almost a guarantee. No way would a male lion take on a healthy, adult water buffalo" Im not buying that, if forced to fight a lion would win I believe. Its like a bear, a bear would most likely run from a lion but if it had to fight probably would win |

What about giant snakes. Do they even make top 15? Could an anaconda choke out any of the top 10? What about large poisonous king cobras? |

leopards are bigtime badass.....like a perfect killing machine.....razor sharp claws, mammoth teeth, and immense power for a relatively "smallish" frame.....ever see a leopard kill a full grown antelope and carry it up a tree in its fu$king MOUTH? Talk about power....... |

First off very solid list my man. As a fellow animal death fight enthousiast its nice to see someone else who knows whats what. Hippo def deserves to be ahead of rhino. Even though a rhino has the potential to be death on four legs, theyre not as great as youd think. Hippos have killed them with those tusks. Personally, I still place the elite male lion over the elite male tiger one on one. "Bacillus anthracis: Anthrax" Shit! But I dont know if thats really a "land animal" In that case Im confident that a bull elephant jobs to Bubonic Plague then. "discover science says gorilla beats leopard" They also claimed that one on one a walrus would kill a polar bear. They did that knowing that polar bears in fact kill and eat walri. The bear expert on that show was like "wtf is wrong with you people!?" I watched that show and called almost almost every fight correctly. Im not trying to be a sore loser but the data on these encounters is that polar bear beats walrus and leopards kill gorillas which apparently are petrified of big cats. "1 African bull elephant in must 2 Polor Bear 3 Kodiak Bear 4 African water Buffalo 5 Siberian Tiger 6 Adult Male Lion 7 Rhino 8 Hippo 9 Jaguar 10 Kimodo Dragon" Now this list is beyond F'ed up! A water buffalo beats a rhino? Are you serious? Kimodo dragon is a definite wildcard. Kind of like the anaconda he can suprise or flop depending on how the fight goes. |
