Actually I didn't catch him. My male boxer caught him. I looked down form the deck and though it was a really odd looking rock in his mouth. He and my other dog killed a turtle earlier this year. Glad this one made it. I put him back in the wood by our creek this evening.

Man i wish something more than mosquitos, dragonflies and spiders creeped around in my yard... Nice lookin turtle & nice job saving him.

i had a box turtle for about 11 years as a kid, was the only pet my parents would let me have.
