walbjj Edited: 20-Jul-07 Member Since: 10/13/2005 Posts: 1675	anyone had a look at this car. my brother is a mustang nut, he has a 01 cobra convertible, and is looking at getting this next. personally, i think the build quality on mustangs, and ford in general is rat-shit, piss poor in fact. is the gt500 any better? i know it goes like a scalded cat, in a straight line, but is that all its good for?

It is definitely no where close to as fast as the C6 Z06. The base C6 will outrun it, especially now that the C6 received a 35 hp bump for 08. You have ignored this user.

Didn't know it could handle that well although I'm sure the feel isn't anything close to the Porsche. Has huge potential for straight-line performance. The KR edition by Shelby is supposed to really up the handling performace of the gt500. You have ignored this user.

The suspension is a Mustang competition racing suspension. The tires are wider than normal, and its just cool. The numbers dont tell the story on it. You have ignored this user.
