Time for The Portable Lunch Time Udon Gourmet Portablility, check!
Inside we have instant udon noodles, chopped green onion, a small salmon filet pan seared with salt pepper and olive oil, and my favorite soup packets.
Notice home the soup packets come with a flavor pack and a miso pack. It comes in a big bag with 30 miso packs and 10 packets each of 3 different flavor. Anyone using single packet miso soup mix with singular flavor offerings is way behind the curve.
Sliced up the salmon, added some hot water, stirred it about and gave it about minute in the microwave, if I didn't know any better, I'd think I was at a noodle bar in southern Tokyo.

sloppy, that looks fantastic! do yourself a favor though--keep a big ass ceramic or porcelain ramen bowl at work and don't microwave shit up in plastic. really bad for you. + it tastes better from a real bowl. |

Technically those containers are microwavable, but you're right, toxicity aside, just like beer tastes better in a nice glass then from an aluminum can, good ceramic is key for noodle soups. |

the worst are the "microwavable" styrofoam ramens. the manager of asiana airlines here in hawaii ate those for 2 years straight--right up to the point they found the stomach cancer--he was dead in a week. that was the final straw for me... |

Woah, look at the smoke/steam rise off that griddle. That looks fantastic, Moke!! I need to try Sloppy2nds dish. I'll just have to find instant Udon noodles somewhere. |

sporkticus, it's not that hard to make your own fresh ones--maybe not as good as the kind you find in japan, but passable. check this out: how to make udon noodles |

Was forced to try the flat side of my griddle tonight...for scientific testing purposes of course...
The extra sweet part is, not only do you not need to smoke out your kitchen, but you don't even need to brush the grill afterwards! Yay!

I wish it was all the way, "into". After your fight you're coming over for some cast-iron goodness. |

Mark, I'm really impressed! You seem to have the lock on what's important in life - or at least by my standards. Good food, good music, good fighting and good friends. Keep it coming! I'm loving it! ttt for the Gi-tarist! |

I like the way Altofsky thinks. I have heavy duty duct tape and plastic zip-ties. *shops for affordable night-vision monocular* |

He posted that line in every thread in existence. I think it's someone who just discovered they still have an account here and decided to get it banned/burned. |
