Last year played in the northwest for a team in Idaho. Had a MMA fight up there and scored a knockout in something like 30 sec. Guy he fought didn't stand a chance. It was on YT last I checked. "I think the refs know that if they let the players get off a little steam when two of them start to get chippy with each other, it will result in fewer aggressive cheap shots, high sticks to the head, etc. later in the game. They let them fight a little and then when it looks like one of them is really getting hammerred or they have both worn themselves out, they break it up. Usually it results in exhaustion on both dudes parts, penalty minutes, and the game goes on without anything major happening. The more serious injuries happen from illegal stick work not from fighting anyway. Not a great reason to allow it, but it is what it is. You have ignored this user.

Look I like mma/boxing/etc as much as any of you, but I'm not a big fan of street fights, which is what this seems like to me.
