If I get my act together, I will have my Ed.D. from UCLA by the end of the year. (academic 07-08) I am also a licensed educational psychologist. |

1st year Phd in International Studies/Political Science. I have to say that I am having a great time. I love what I am studying, I like teaching, and I know how to live on a shoe string budget. They are going to pay me to live in Rio and study portuguese this summer. |

You got it. Brazil also found a huge oil field off the coast that will make them an exporter of the same caliber as Venezuela, which means another country in OPEC. |

Florida International University. It has a little known but high regarded International Relations graduate department specializing in Constructivist IR approaches. It also has one of the best Latin American and Caribean Centers in the country. I am taking Economic History of Latin American with Victor Bulmer-Thomas (London School of Economics, wrote the book on the subject) right now. He comes here to get away from London winters. |
