The other day I was thinking about who I hated the most in the NHL. Then I attended a steak night and for some reason this conversation was brought up at our table. Anyways, who are your top three most hated players. Mine are: 1. Chris Pronger 2. Kirk Maltby 3. Jason Blake One of my buddies had Pronger, Tucker, and Ruttu. |

This is not personal but for sure here are some. Ott, Avery, Ruutu, Tootoo, Kaleta is getting there. |

Mike Ribiero - after his antics in the playoffs a few years ago against the bruins i just cant stand him Jaromir Jagr - with all of the talent that he has is there a bigger disapointment in regards to up and down production? Martin Havlat - what a pussy. |

Why Jason Blake? If you're going by lack of production then maybe, but other than that he seems like a stand-up guy who may be taking the news he has cancer let him affect his game. I understand Darcy Tucker for non-Leafs fans cause he is a pest. I feel the same way about Sean Avery but unlike Tucker I think he enjoys irritating people and has no class. Then again, I might like him if I were a Rangers fan. |

Here are my reasons for my list: Pronger: Big, huge guy who they say is so mean and nasty. He could be but in fact is a huge pussy who just uses his stick as a weapon. He never backs anything up and as such I hate him. If you are going to play that way, and are huge, then please back it up. Scott Stevens you are not. Maltby & Blake: See Pronger minus the size. Run around beaking people, getting in people's faces, and sticking people. Then when push comes to shove, usually initiated by them, they don't do shit and wait for the linesman to get in between them. Honourable Mention: Mike Riberio, I forgot about this clown. Nick Antropov, used to be like Pronger till he tried it with Eric Cairns and took a crack to the face. Alltimer, Ulf Samuellson, never forgive him for his hit on Cam Neely. Btw, I loved seeing Downie punch Blake in the face earlier this year and did not feel bad at all for Pronger when he took that stick to the face from Sharpe. I also think Ott, Avery, Ruttu, Tucker, and Tootoo are alright. They run around stupid but are not afraid to back it up, that's to be respected. |

hmmmm...I've always liked Maltby for some reason, maybe tis the red wing grind line thing but that guy always seemed to give an extra effort come playoff time.Also an awesome defensive forward who gets little credit. But yea, he is one of those guys who opponents hate, but fans love to have on their team. |
