SGAVIN...PAV does not seem to want anything to do with me.

Im almost 42 years old and 0-2 in my dazzling MMA career.  Im 175lbs soaking wet.   I would be willing to fight up as many weight class' as PAV needs.  Just hope they don't  have height restrictions.

So I was offered a fight against a local guy as a publicity stunt here in a bigger show in Hawaii. 

The one thing my guys sometimes say to me is "you have never been in there, you dont understand."  I am thinking about doing it once, just to add it to my life experiences and to say I did it.  What do you think?

Part III It sounds like you train, what do you train and with what instructors?

- Razor Rob personal trains me three to four times a week when I am not traveling. We work primarily on stand-up.

If you train BJJ what is the strongest part of your game? Weakest?

- I don't really train BJJ. I do wrestle from time to time though.

 

3 to 4 times a week standup, two intensive weeks of BJJ with Cummo and he hung with Crazy Bob Cook.  C'mon Pav, TJ is offering what are you waiting for!

Don't count out the Pav-

Pav was a high level hockey player, a NY'er and by all accounts, was able to hang tough with Crazy Bob Cook.  He also has a distinct size and power advantage over Thompson.  Plus, training with Razor Rob > training with Leben...

T Jay would lay the beat down until the the 2 minute mark of Round 2, when Pav would beckon the energy of the crowd, and unleash the power and fury of the Pavamania in all its glory.  Would make the Hulkster proud, IMO.

It could be fun-  T Jay has been involved with mma longer-  But Pavia is bigger, stronger, younger and has a ton of great training resources in California-  The winner?  The fans!!! (and Mike from X-1)

Actually the fight I was offered was not against TJ.  It was against someone else.  Oh and I turn 42 in Aug.  I am about 188 right now.
