Drag racing a harley is like running a 40 yard dash dragging a tree stump behind you. Its impressive if you finish the race, but you're stupid for doing it and your time is still gonna be bad. |

What sport bike has the reputation for being the best handler? By that I don't so much mean razors edge, top speed around the track handling, I mean mountain road, mostly legal speed, easiest to move around on the road handling. |

Tough to say Racer X. Of all the current bikes available the best ROAD bike is (in my opinion) the Suzuki B-King. Its soft enough to deal with the bumps on the road, yet tight enough to push quite hard. Its easy to steer well ballanced and very agile with out being flighty.... |

I was reading an article about the 08 Road King with a 1500cc motor making around 70hp. Freakin pathetic for a 1500cc motor to only make 70hp, who gives a crap about low end if 650 twins are making 85+. Why do people buy those Load King's by the masses? |

I think that Ecosse runs about $240,000 The Confederates I posted are close to that I think. |

Boutique bikes are not made for riders. I have pics of an MV augusta from here in vegas with 2 inch chicken strips. $240k buys you what, bling titanium? Can't you buy a desmosedici rr for like 70k, which is arguably more exclusive (people know what a ducati is and it looks like the motogp bike) and will actually corner. |

Actually, the Iconoclast model goes for around $75K The Titanium model goes for $275K and it's not just "bling" Instead it's a supercharged 225 HP monster at 465 pounds, and believe it or not, these things do perform. Just take a look at the suspension. At one time the stock Heretic was the worlds fastest production bike from 0-60. I can only guess what the Ti would do. No, it's not going to win the GP...(that's what the Ecosse Spirit is for) If you're looking for "Exclusive"... So far there's only ONE in existance, and it's going to Tennesee. |

So a 450 lb dry SC twin is gonna be taking down zx10's and gix1ks at the track huh? And one that costs 240k? Specs aside its not gonna be ridden hard despite the ohlins. (good choice of course) And the spirit will never race in motogp, you know what it costs to fund a team? |

^ actually a Confederate bike owns the 2000cc unfaired land speed record. So killing it in every way would require you set a class world record, so.... good luck with that Mr. Smartypants. j/k Nah, I'm not defending any Confederate motorcycle on a practical use of money basis, that would be ridiculous. You could probably fund an entire season of racing a Hayabusa for less, including the bike. But then, the Pagani Zonda is a $600,000+ car that can't be justified by any logical criteria, but I think it is awesome in it's own right, too. |

Ya...these bikes are definately geared to the top 1% ers. But they're not about speed or winning races. They're about having the coolest sport/cruiser in the neighborhood...or in the state possibly. |

TKO313, hate to disagree, but like I said, with a class world speed record, Confederate takes speed seriously. Actually, I see you meant the people who could BUY one rather than the makers. I agree with you there. |

I like the looks of this bike but I think the KTM Superduke is a better bike |
