I'm going to buy a new gun next month, and i don't know which i'm getting. A savage 270wsm or a savage 7mag. They have to be synthetic stock, bolt action, and prolly the accutrigger. Bass Pro has both for the same price. I just hunt deer where i live , but i'm going hog hunting in Feb. and i plan on going elk hunting this fall. I need help fellers. |

If you're going with the basic Savage synthetic stock, make sure you get one with the new savage 'accu-stock' versus the old plastic tupperware stock. |

If your going to shoot strictly factory ammo is that 7 mag can be found in just about any podunk store next to Americas hunting grounds. |

that 7mm round is BRUTAL to deer! not that the 270 isn't, but I've seen more direct kills from the 7mm. |
