Kirik - What are location, street name, focus, and target market? Dont have a street name yet, looking in North Carolina, going to have both boxing and kickboxing for the general public (fitness minded) and Muay Thai, Jiu Jitsu and MMA for the competition minded. More of my focus will be towards the general public. I was thinking of having a seperate competition team name. |

I own a business and the first thing I thought about when coming up with a name was, do I want to sound regional? That's not necessarily a bad thing, but in my case I didn't. |

Cardinal Martial Arts Academy NC State Bird, good alternate meaning, great potential for a logo. Also Dogwood Martial Arts Academy NC State flower, cool sounding name, readymade logo. |

Gorgeous -wow..... thats creative.. I want to get away from the "martial arts" in the name ..... let face it, its the general public that pays the bills... the competition stuff is the fun stuff, I would try to stay away from charging legit pros and have them make money from the gym instead (teaching group classes, being trainers, etc) |
