I don't believe in ghosts or religion. I have witnessed a very small and simple impossible event witnessed by 2 people. The event involved a small item missing and reappearing a few seconds later in place when we looked back. I would have thought that I was crazy if it had not been witnessed by another person at the time. `To this day, I believe that it had to either be a ghost or some problem with space and time. I tend to lean towards the latter.

You more than likely had what I call an awake nightmare, or a type of night terror. There is an actual term for it, I gotta go look it up. I've had a hundred of these type of things and one of the common occurances is a black figure hovering down on you, almost putting pressure on you, and you can't move. It is beyond horrifying if you don't know that it is actually a dream. I know when I am about to go into that awake nightmare zone and I will bite my arm or yell until my wife wakes me up.

that's sleep paralysis man... lots of people get that shit
