I keep him lean just above fighting weight, he's in at about 15lbs right now... and he is much thinner than he wants to be, fucker always want to eat. He brought home a full grown snowshoe hare this spring. Not a little baby bunny like all the stories I heard. The rabbit was a good 24" long. You have ignored this user.

Dmclat - I have a domestic short hair cat. I keep him lean just above fighting weight, he's in at about 15lbs right now... and he is much thinner than he wants to be, fucker always want to eat. He brought home a full grown snowshoe hare this spring. Not a little baby bunny like all the stories I heard. The rabbit was a good 24" long. He sounds like a nice sized cat. But a horseshoe rabbit is quite the catch. Wonder how he managed it? You have ignored this user.

horseshoe rabbit? never heard the term I dont have a clue how he got it, it's neck was broken, not much sign of struggle....a little damage around the shoulders.... I'd imagine that rabbit had to have hopped right into pouncing distance and the cat must of gotten right on its neck.... the snowshoe hares are quite strong around here after hopping around the snow all winter....though he may have been weakened from the winter. Are you cats indoor or outdoor cats? You have ignored this user.

Can get kinda aggressive sometimes expecially with my wife but we are getting him fixed next week and I think that will chill him out considerably. You have ignored this user.
