Can I simply swap a VF39 or VF34 in place of my stock TD04 on my EJ25 without upgrading the fuel pump and injectors? I know i'd need a STI TMIC and uppipe, but I believe that is it. Any feedback is welcomed. Mark |

I'm sure there is a topic that covers your exact needs such as a topic in which someone wants to run maximum boost with stock fueling is unbelievably popular regardless of car make. Whenever I want to know the limitations of the stock fueling system of a car, I lurk at the various forums or use very specific searches in google I don't really have much subaru performance experience on cars beyond the old 1.8 XT turbos and the fact that I did plenty of dealership work on the later ones. Here's a good starting point on turbo size for that car. http://www.wrxtuners.com/forums/f95/what-turbo-should-i-get-read-before-asking-20013/ And another forum that should be helpful. http://www.clubwrx.net/forums/engine-modifications/80872-engine-performance-faq-read-me.html |

I'd recommend checking out http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/ also. I think it's the biggest Subaru forum with like 200,000 members. |

Mark1 - thanks. Get the biggest turbo you can find on there, then build a fuel system piece by piece to support it. lol |
