Pustak - var so = new SWFObject("http://www.youtube.com/v/FkEYkUxdhcU&hl=en&fs=1&", "postVideo-27535193-Flash", "425", "355", "9.0.28", "##000"); so.addParam("allowScriptAccess", "samedomain"); so.addParam("allowNetworking", "internal"); so.addParam("wmode", "transparent"); so.write("postVideo-27535193"); I saw Leonard live recently and wept and wept at this. LC is the man. Talked to him once during one of his Poet In Residence tours. A very kind, insightful, and deep person....and of course one hell of a wordsmith. |

Cire - Con te Partiro This is exactly what popped in my head when I saw the thread title. Although, I prefer the duet with Sarah Brightman that they played when Henry Maske retired from the ring. |

I prefer that version too, but it was pulled from YouTube, so I had to compromise. Sadly most people reading this thread have no idea about this incredible song and will truely miss out on a modern day classic. |

My mom used to listen to Elvis' version of Amazing Grace. I still love that one. For me, "Simple Man." |

My Grandma was a HUGE baseball fan - Cincinnati Reds - at her funeral we had the organist play "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" at the end of the service. |

For me? Nothing I'm dead just scrap out my parts that someone else can use like an old car and burn what's left. My Dad wants "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong, even now when I hear that song it gets me. |

Lots of good songs on here. I would say for me it would probably be a Lynyrd Skynyrd song but if not that Demon Hunter "Carry me down" If you haven't heard this song it's a must listen. |

For my funeral it would have to be "the birdy song", just for shiots and giggles. For my ex wife it would be that classic from the Wizard of Oz, "Ding Dong, the witch is dead". |
