nyhcloyalty - Talked to a buddy of mine that I train with, we're gonna go down later on this week. Going to say we're looking to compete in MMA, ask him about his accolades, etc. I am not too far... let me know.. if I have time I will go with you guys and act like I dont know anything :) |

this should be good. But be careful, if a 155 lb man has all those prison wins he must be amazing, unless they started using weight classes for prison fights |

Being as I have been brought in to the conversation, I have to say that in no way was I "scammed" into having Christian Darrow (Attica MMA) at the NY expo. That event was a good event and was open to all training facilities that wanted to attend or exhibit. As far as knowing Christian, you know that I am Switzerland and have relationships with all of the gyms. So far my involvement has been with a traumatic brain injury charity, and a fund raiser for a child that needs a bone marrow transplant. I don't think that is so bad and it is definitely nothing that is "bad for the sport". He is trying to build that monstrous facility that he has and I will do whatever I can to help all gyms be successful. It is to my (and your) advantage if this industry thrives. So being that I post under my real name here, nut job has called my work and threatening to come to my house lolol. He should be going to my gym to meet with its owner ( we have no idea why BTW, not sure what it can accomplish). Ranting on how I am a nobody, he is a somebody, blah blah blah. We will need as many cameras as possible to film this if it hopefully goes down. Guy cannot fight, and if he fights me, we will have plenty of video evidence. |

I also have to say, I am being targeted by him as I speak freely with my own name. No need to stand for Bullshido in this community. I believe you guys share the same belief that anyone misrepresenting any form of martial arts is in the wrong. I would be cool with him as a business owner. As a a manager. But NOT as an instructor and especially not as the #1 ranked USFC fighter. Making up a league, claiming to be the top dog, calling out REAL fighters, etc, all leave a bad taste in our mout and make us look like fools in the end of the day. Being in prison and a tough guy does NOT make a martial arts teacher or martial artist. You cannot simply make up stories and expect us to be OK with it. I'll be at the gym soon, he will be there, and we can exchange our ideas. Maybe settle it in the ring. |
