just saying i was training under this new brazilian in our city...told us he was a member of a certain brazilian team. he wasn't in the website until after 3 mos. that would have been a disaster if we confronted him. |

Ok I read the whole bullshido thread, somebody needs to alert mmaguy (though I think he said he is going to be on the road for 2 days) All the evidence is already laid out there, if this school is still running, the UG needs to shut it down. |

www.teambeastbjj.com/instructors.html Notice in this link he does not claim black belt, just head instructor. In the about the academy page it says they have a real black blet that trains with them, is it the same guy (Matheus Barvo)? |

You can see my post earlier in this thread where I recommend investigation, but to hold the insults and assumptions until something is proven. Even if someone is almost certainly a fraud, I prefer to keep a pleasant tone. I find it easier to get people to admit to their mistakes when you don't openly attack them. However, there are those times when it is necessary. I'm sure there are many people that aren't internet junkies that wouldn't feel the need to respond to a bunch of people online if they weren't being reasonable about it. |

I just threw in Battlecade 4. Goes vs. Todd. Todd did train in Iowa in 1996 era. He was born in Seattle. I tried doing a quick google search on Todd, but not sure if he trains anymore or where... I find it hard to believe Todd, 15 year vetern is training under this schmuck and is only a purple belt.... |

Ok.... So...I'm really confused on the Todd Bjornethun situation... There is a facebook of Todd that is linked to Team Beast BJJ as well as Matt Hume. However.....It seems there is another Todd Bjornethun living in . . . . . drum roll . . . Duvall, Washington who is 45 years old. He is a regional manager for some retail company in Washington - not mma related... I'm very interested to know if the REAL Todd Bjornethun from Battlecade 4 is indeed training with Team Beast BJJ in Idaho. I don't want to jump to conclusions, but if the real Todd Bjornethun is training undering this dude, then the place does contain credibility since Todd Bjornethun is a legit vetern of the sport..... |

There is a student who is claiming that the they had Leonardo Vieira come stay at their house when he was conducting seminars at Team Beast. Can anyone verify this to be true? |
