A welterweight bout between veteran Duane "Bang" Ludwig and "The Ultimate Fighter 7" winner Amir Sadollah has been slotted for March's UFC Fight Night 24 event. While not yet officially announced by the promotion, UFC Fight Night 24 is expected to take place March 26 in Seattle and features a Spike TV headliner between Antonio Rogerio Nogueira and Tito Ortiz. I really like Bang. I trained with him at Nates school and he is the most impressive Muay Thai fighter I have personally ever been around. Also he is a GREAT guy! BUT...man he needs a ground game overhaul. I don't understand it because Nate and his instructors ( Rob & Paul) are very good teachers and he is one of Nates best friends.Amir will know this, take him down and submit him in the 1st rd.......sorry Bang, I hope you prove me wrong! Amir may be more well-rounded and favors the standup, but his striking is not on the same caliber as Bang's as already mentioned. Amir mixes it up with striking/takedowns. Bang keeps the fight standing of course, and picks him apart as long as he's cautious of takedown attempts and not waiting for them. You have ignored this user.

BANG takes this one. I know and like both of these guys. I've seen Amir progress as a fighter. I've seen Amir's amateur MMA and muay thai fights. He does have impressive striking but I just don't think it compares to the striking of Ludwig. BANG has been working on his ground game for quite some time now and it has improved. Genki couldn't submit him and that was years ago. Bang can be a slow starter but hopefully that won't hold him back this time. I see Amir coming in and trying to set up a take down with his strikes and then getting worked constantly for rounds 1-3. Bang will win the U.D. I don't see Amir being finished because he is a tough kid with a massive heart. You have ignored this user.
