Mayfield - My guess it is probably Oxy. He is crushing it to get past the time released agents in the pill. Nope. Oxycontin came out in 96, Leon takes place in 94. Besides the time release is the coating, not "agents". |

Gary Oldman indicated that the capsules and the effects of the drug were intentionally unknowable, i.e. intentionally different from any specific drug. The idea was to increase his strangeness rather than fit any specific model of drug use. |

It's the pill that is made to be time released, so chewing or snorting it changes the composition and bypasses the time release. Scraping off the coating does nothing. |
