Just a quick rundown of how the Alabama guys did... Matt Ward defeated the Tennessee ISKA 170lb champion in the first round. He landed a flurry of punches which bloodied Kyle up pretty badly, then took it to the ground and finished him with a rear naked choke. It was over pretty quickly. Stephen Wilhite's original opponent had to back out, so Stephen agreed to fight a very big 170 pounder who also had an opponent back out. Stephen beat him in the first round by rear naked choke after pounding on him for a little bit from side control. Daniel O'Brien fought "Infamous AO" and quickly took it to the ground, landed several elbows from the bottom, got AO in an omoplata that looked like it ruined the poor guys shoulder, then took his back, flattened him out, and threw punches until the ref stopped it. Dmac lost by rear naked choke. Adrien Miles destroyed his opponent as well. He ended up standing in the guys guard and bouncing his head off the mat until the ref stopped it. Great fights. This was hyped as "Alabama vs. Tennessee" and Alabama definitely dominated. Great job guys. |

Triad deff represented. So proud of our school. I was so confident going into every fight, including mine, that nobody has trained harder than us.

MMAreaper - I missed some of the fights towards the end. I don't remember most fighters names that I don't know personally. I know that Senkbeil guy won by a decision. |

Adrien Miles was freaking hilarious during the post fight interview. It kills me how he's so chill before and after the fight, but an explosive monster during the fight. Guy with microphone: So Adrien, is there anyone else you'd like to thank? Adrien: Yeah.... Errrbody................even God. |

All of the Alabama guys had amazing performances. I don't think Adrian Miles is "duckin" anybody. Adrian never had any issues with any of the canidates that we had in mind. Adrian has fought some of the toughest guys in the business. Adam Gibbs SportFight X |
