I'm 36 and am really considering enlisting. However, about a year ago I had a severe bout with pancreatitis which caused a hernia to develop. I had my gall bladder removed and a double heria repair, but recovered completly and have been fit and fine since last April. Just wondering if these past issues, even though I have no lingering effects or pain at all, could DQ me from being eligible? |

It all depends man. I would say you are good. It's all up to the surgeon general though.

virux11b - Where did you get that info. I'll check for you on Monday. <img src="/images/phone/post_tag.png" alt="Phone Post" border="0" style="vertical-align:middle;"/> The link Cannibal posted above? So what if I lied about it? I feel fit as ever and a Ranger friend said if I was really determined, to try to get in without even mentioning or admitting it. My surgical scars are tiny and faded. What's worst could happen? lol |
