Who would you guys rank as the top 135 and 145 non-UFC or Strikeforce professional fighters in the state of Florida? I am doing coverage for both around the octagon and us combat sports and would like to put up rankings on both sites but would like everyone's opinions first. Thanks. |

Frank for sure, I've never actually seen Caleb fight. I'm pretty sure that both Ralph and Frank have both fought for Bellator, and won't be surprised when they fight for the UFC before too long.. |

Im starting to put my list together. They are in no particular order but this is who i have so far. I need to get it down to top ten that way i can put them up on the sites. Feedback and opinions would be very much appreciated. 1. Marlon Moraes (6-3-1) 2. Tulio Quintanilla (4-2) 3. Ralph Acosta (8-6) 4. Geane Herrera (2-0) 5. Andrew Conners (2-1) 6. Frankie Sharipov (13-3) #1 in state i think 7. Caleb Archer (5-1) 8. Pablo Alfonso (6-4) 9. Eric Luke (5-4) 10. Haender Rodriguez (5-5) 11. Mike Ortiz (4-3) Still working on the list though. I will get it up to 20 guys then break it down from there. Any feedback or opinions would be great. Thanks |

I hear Eckstien cant fight anymore due to injuries suffered in his fight with Tulio. Im at 135 now(10-6) . I have a decision loss to Frank. Most of my L's were in short notice fights 155lbs or above. I go all over the world and fight everyones best guy. Many of my opponents in Mexico, Costa Rica and South Africa have twice or three times as many fights as show up on any data base. Opponents 68-66 (this is stuff that shows up on UG & Sherdog). Opponents include Bellator VetS, A All American wrestler, title holders in other contries and a vet of the WCL. I manage myself so I can tell you of four fighters mentioned above that want nothing to do with fighting me. Or should I say the managers and coaches want nothing to do with fighting me. I hear it first hand from promoters. No need to call anyone out, you know who you are. Any list with me not in the top 5 is a joke! If you think other wise contact me and I will be happy to find a promotion to put that fight on at 135. I have a huge contact list, I can make it happen. |

I know that both had you ranked at 145. They are just not up yet, and Burgos and Goodall have both neither fought in a year. Burgos fought hasnt fought since march of last year and goodall hasn't fought since 09. I agree with you on both guys. But I know they had you ranked at 145. I didnt know for sure whether you were there or at 135. They do the rankings with guys that have fought in at least the last 6-9 months i think. |

I saw Burgos at the UFC tryouts, that kid is soooo explosive on the ground! Training with Rob and Matt you know his BJJ has gotten twice as good in a year. Jason I think is on the next Fight time Card so Im sure he will be in the rankings again soon. DJ can you post a link to these rankings? Someone please fight me at 135lbs so when I beat you I can be ranked at 135lbs and not 145lbs. |

if you are grouping together 135 and 145 Geane Herrera, A. Connors and Mike Ortiz can not be on the list. Not to say Herrera and Connnors wont be on the list in two years but right now top guys in both weight classes would just walk right through both of them. Ortiz has a loss to James Wynn. Fights that need to happen; Florida promotions please take note and you can send me my consultant check in the mail. |

Look at McCooks two losses! John Franchi is a WEC vet and former colligate wrestling stand out. Not to mention when he(Franchi) fought Cub Swanson the fight was a toss up until he got caught with a guillotine with 10 seconds left in the fight. At the time Cub was a top 20 featherweight in the world. On top of that it was a split decision loss. The other loss was also a very close decision loss to a guy who is 11-4. At 145 you can also put Bruce Connors who Im a big fan of. He is on a bit of a bad run right now. Bogdan Christea who is a beats greco wrestler with big time international experience. Jason Carapelluci, but if I watch Jason dry hump one more guy for 15 min Im going to quesion my sexuality. You know what I would like to see Baboon and Micha Miller fight/scratch McCook VS Baboon.....is Miller eligable? |

He took that fight on a week and a half notice. Not taking anything from gabe. Just sayin. As well as he had only been training for 6 months @ that point.
