About 3 weeks ago i had a fight at 185. I usually walk around at 220-230 so it was a monster cut. I was down around 200 with a week to go. So i trained real hard coming down the pipe but wasnt dropping below 195. So the last 2 days i hit the sauna. The first sauna day i stayed long enoungh to lose 8 pounds getting down to 190. After the sauna i drank a gallon of water and cut my water intake by 6pm. 24 hrs befor weigh in. Friday morning i hit the sauna and accidently over cut. I fell all the way down to 181. My ear started ringing but i figured it would go away. Thing is it seems to be getting worse. Anyone have a similar problem? does it go away? do i need to see a specialist? |

That level of dehydration can definitely cause some tinnitus. How you feeling now? |

I get it when I train sometimes. Nothing to worry about, dehydration like mocrates says. |

high blood pressure has something to do with tinnitus, ultimately. if you are dehydrated, your blood pressure goes up = ringing in ears. getting hit in the head may also cause ringing in the ears but thats not quite from the same reason. |
