Bernard Rutherford lost 5 in a row and hasn't fought since 2010 Tom Nguyen hasn't fought in a while either. Steele McCall is unbeaten and currently ranked #6 by Georgia Fighters magazine I can't remember the last time I saw a light heavyweight fight here. Middleweight: Cale Yarborough, Clint Hester, Warren Thompson, Dave Mewborn, Dave Vitkay, Brett Chism Welterweight: Jucao, Dhiego Lima, Jeff Boudreaux, Will Kuhn, Dustin Chovanic, Clay Harvison, Urarahy Rodriguez |

What happened to Bernard? He was awesome and his fight with Scott Harper was epic. Scott Harper came out dressed like the Road Warrior and Bernard came out with shirts that said "68 Officer Down" as Scott is a police officer. He Ko'd Scott and I respect them both. |

I know that ammy fights shouldn't play a part in the pro rankings but it looks like they might in this case. I will look to see who else is ranked when I get home. He will move up though since he just won again. |

Traven, who would you say are the top fighters in each division around here? It's hard to put together heavies and light heavies, I think. |

JR is Junior Assunco. Of course you could make an argument for Mushin at 155. My list was written in may so some changes have taken place since then. We should make new list of the top "unsigned" guys in GA. Adam Singer |

Richard the thread says top UNSIGNED so that is why Barrett is excluded from the HVY list. Peavler is MIA somewhere in Fla and if you really believe your boy Eakin should be listed above me there is one for sure way to settle it. As far as Austin and I go, we have an understanding that I just beat him to a title shot and that he will wait patiently for me to sign and vacate the title. I'm no fool in thinking that I am the best out there. It was a great opportunity to fight Mark George for the THEN vacant GFC title. If Eakin had been given the opportunity to fight for it he woulda jumped at the chance. And then people would make comments about him not being the true number one. I'm aware that many may think I don't deserve to be listed as number 1, I often doubt myself, but I'm not gonna give it up without a fight. If you, Stephen, or anyone else believe that they should have the belt, fight me and win it. Don't sit back and try to discredit me based on maybes, shoulda beens, or could be's....... Just sayin. |

I don't think these rankings count for crap honestly. We are in such a shallow talent pool. As for me, well I just need to win a fight haven't won in almost exactly a year today. |

I would like to apologize to Richard and Stephen that my post was taking the wrong way. I have to defend myself on a regular basis that people believe that I don't deserve to be ranked #1 by the GFC rankings. I have also heard that the GFC ranking don't mean anything. While I may not be the top ranked HWY, I believe myself to be top 3. Due to a frequently recurring illness, I have not been able to train like I need to, and because of this I haven't been able to fight as often as I want to either. On Tuesday, Dec.6 they went in and repaired a defective duct in my pancreas. By the end of Feb. or beginning of March I will be ready to strap 'em up again. I meant no disrepect by calling Stephen out or by calling anyone else out. But Stephen is one of the top ranked guys, and beating him solidify that I deserve to be ranked number 1, My thoughts are than Stephen is my biggest threat on the GA mma scene. But there are a list of guys all over the south that peak my interest, so I'm not really singling him out. I think he is a great fighter and would pose a big challenge. ONce again my apologies to Richard Cox and Stephen Eakin. I was venting and crossed the line by singling y'all out. |

Nick, Thanks for that. As far as haters go man don't let them bother you. I would be proud to have that GFC belt, my comment about the rankings had to do with their really only being 3 of us really going after getting signed. Guarino included. Hope your medical issue gets better soon.
