Bought a Vapor 10 about two or three weeks ago to fish from.   Best purchase of my life.  If you are a fisherman and do not own a kayak to fish out of, get one.  There is just nothing like it.

Here are some pics so far.  I will add more as I take them.  Please, by all means, add your own.

I'll second that, I built one about two years ago and it's a totally different experience on the water.

Nice pics, I'll post some when I get more time, including one of a REAL paddle, lol.

Of course, this weekend I didnt have my camera.

Slaughtered the bass with a ScumFrog and a Texas Rig.

Saw a deer eating leaves about 10ft from me on shore. Tons of other cool nature stuff.

No camera....fuck.

I got a smartphone this weekend. Should be able to snap more pics soon. I always leave the camera behind. Sucks too because you always see some cool shit on the day you forget it.

I recommend getting one of the Spyderco Salt series knives. Just got he Dragonfly in the mail. VG10, bright yellow FRN handle, combo edge. Cut a few things with it. The H1 was sharp enough. Would be nice to have as a lanyard so its right there and you dont have to reach into your pocket or find it in the bottom of the kayak.

Ive thought of this. I am also thinking of a flat back canoe so I can put a small engine on the back.

Seems like a canoe would be a better choice because you can fit way more gear in it, fish with more than one person.

What are your thoughts on canoe vs kayack?

I know canoe has some stability issues but I think that could be easily fixed if you took some pvc pipe and had some shit off each side to keep it nice and balanced.

What can you do shallow water in easier? kayack or canoe?

Either one is a great choice. Get both.

A canoe can go 99% of the places a kayak can for the most part. A bit more cumbersome though.

Kayak is nice to just grab and go.

Always a blast! I have been kayak fishing for a few years and love it. If you have not seen it, check out Game ON A kayak fishing movie... or the Kayak Fishing show with Jim Sammons

Very cool I was out this morning on a ocean kayak after some rooster.

The tide was in so Surf fishing was a out of the question with the young one with me.

Certainly adds a lot to the experience.

I took my kayak out for the first time this weekend and had a great time. I have a Jon Boat, a Canoe and a bass boat and the kayak by far was the most fun.
I even caught a few nice fish:
